SVAALTI is an intensive 1 year program designed specifically to familiarize participants with some of the Great Lakes Bay Region’s most influential people and organizations. An Orientation Breakfast kicks off the program followed by an Induction Ceremony, Nine Leadership Sessions (once a month that are mandatory) from July-February, nine optional networking events and a Graduation. Monthly sessions run from 7:30am-1:30pm and include lunch. Participants must stay for the entire session to get attendance credit towards graduation. Leadership sessions often include on-site visits, tours and open dialogue with various central leaders in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Over the course of the program participants will have an opportunity to study the qualities and skills that make a leader and, in turn, analyze and develop their own style of leadership.
