The Process:

The Selection and Endorsement Committee meets to discuss the endorsement policies and procedures of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce. After a thorough review of the policies and procedures, candidates in elections of interest to the business community are invited to participate in an interview process.

Following the interviews, the committee evaluates and discusses candidate responses. Individual endorsements are based on which candidates most closely share the Chamber's vision of the future and have the most opportunity to serve the interests of the business community. The final endorsement recommendations are presented to the Chamber's Board of Directors for discussion and approval.
