Q: What year did you begin working at your company?
A: 2025

Q: When year did you join the YPN Steering Committee?
A: 2023

Q: What motivated you to join the YPN Steering Committee?
A: I wanted a bigger role in helping attract and retain young talent in the area, much like I was years ago. Saginaw is a great place to be, and I want other people to see that.

Q: What YPN event do you look forward to the most and why?
A: I always enjoy the Nonprofit Navigator. I love to help my community and find areas within our community I can fit into to help or learn more about what they do so I connect them with people who are just as passionate about it.

Q: What’s your favorite way to build meaningful connections at YPN events—before, during, or after the event?
A: Be part of the Welcome Subcommittee, I make sure to make newcomers feel welcome and introduce them to people I think they would have a mutually beneficial connection with.

Q: How do you hope someone feels after attending their first YPN event?
A: My only hope is that they enjoy themselves so much and see how much value the YPN has to offer that they come to another event.

Q: What’s one professional skill you’ve strengthened through your involvement with YPN?
A: Communication.

Q: What’s one moment during your time with YPN that made you feel especially connected to the group or the community?
A: Our Memories & Milestones luncheon. It was amazing to get to know the people who helped form the Saginaw County YPN, learn more about people who have grown through the YPN and have gone on to do greater things. It is inspiring to see how these connections build the community we live in.

Q: What’s one habit or mindset that helps you balance career growth with community involvement?
A: Being dependable. If I say I will do something for you, I will make sure I do that. When you show up for people, they show up for you – but someone has to be the first to step up, and I like to be that person.

Q: What’s something outside of work that brings you energy or inspiration and helps you show up as a better leader?
A: I spend most of my time outside of work volunteering, but I also love trying and supporting Chamber businesses, especially those who have newly joined! Saginaw is a place where it’s people show up you, so I try to get out there as much as I can to support our local businesses.

Q: What’s a hidden gem in Saginaw County you enjoy recommending to other young professionals?
A: There’s so many, it’s hard to choose! But I have to say

Q: If your life had a theme song right now, what would it be and why?
A: Feeling Good by Nina Simone
