Q: What year did you begin working at your company?
A: 2025 for Storm Master and 2017 for Occasional Details

Q: What year did you become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: I became a Chamber Ambassador in 2019.

Q: What motivated you to become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: I love to be involved with community and commerce matchmaking. Bringing business’ together to help them grow and gain a larger footprint in the GLBR.

Q: What’s a small moment as an Ambassador that made you feel proud to be involved?
A: There are many small moments that I have had as am Ambassador that makes me proud, but involvement with making history during the participation in the Memorial Cup is the pinnacle.

Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that has stuck with you, personally or professionally?
A: Everyone has a story, good, bad or ugly and you need to show grace and patience.

Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience?
A: I hope they take away that all things are possible with the right network and that the Chamber is here to help.

Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up?
A: Anyone that knows me, knows that you can talk with me about anything.

Q: What role has the Chamber played in your personal or professional growth?
A: The Chamber has been a catalyst with network growth and relationship building both personally and professionally. I would not be where I am now without the Chamber group and all of my involvement.

Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have?
A: People are often shocked to find out that I also own a catering company and “do that for fun” on weekends or whenever we have orders.

Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next?
A: I am currently on my journey to finish my Bachelors Degree with Saginaw Valley State University. Being 57, I was hesitant about even entertaining this dream. After processing the options, I think that this is a great plan AND I can be a good example for my granddaughters and others who are on the fence about their future.

Q: What's one thing you always have at your desk?
A: I always have a picture of my grandkids. Family is important, whether it is blood family, work family, friend family or any other family grouping that molds your life.

Q: If your job had a theme song, what would it be?
A: Storm Master Exteriors theme song would be “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles because we need nice weather to do our jobs effectively. Occasional Details Catering them song would be “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers.
