Q: What year did you begin working at your company?
A: I have significant dates this year with both of my careers. November will be 5 years at United Way of Saginaw County and September will be 10 years with Century 21 Signature Realty.
Q: What year did you become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: While I had been an Ambassador in previous years, I came back in January 2024!
Q: What’s a small moment as an Ambassador that made you feel proud to be involved?
A: I love how we all work together, whether it’s on our team or as the entire Ambassador group.
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that has stuck with you, personally or professionally?
A: You miss 100% of the shots you didn’t take.
Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience?
A: To see how friendly the Chamber members are, we want to get to know you and your business.
Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up?
A: I think it’s easy to talk about your career and how you evolved into that position.
Q: What role has the Chamber played in your personal or professional growth?
A: I’ve learned that you always need to be involved–if I don’t know you and your business, you don’t know mine.
Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have?
A: I learned how to cook during COVID. When I first met my husband, he would bring over pots and pans to cook with–I had nothing! Now I bake and cook all the time.
Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next?
A: I’d love to learn to speak Spanish!

A: Several things: coffee, my phone and business cards.
