Q: When did you begin working at your company?
A: We started the company in 2024 to be the cool promo company.
Q: When did you become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: This is my 1st year as an Ambassador and I am beyond excited to get involved and become a bigger part of my community.
Q: What motivated you to become an Ambassador?
A: My heart beats for Saginaw! I've always believed in the power of community, and seeing local businesses thrive truly inspires me. Becoming a Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador felt like a natural step to channel that passion.
I'm eager to connect with fellow business owners, share ideas, and contribute to the vibrant energy that makes Saginaw special. The opportunity to champion our local businesses, celebrate their successes, and be a part of this supportive network is incredibly motivating. I'm excited to roll up my sleeves and be an active force in our community's growth!
Q: What’s the most memorable connection you’ve made as a Chamber Ambassador?
A: Emily Almarouhn because she was the first person to guide me to the Chamber and really make me feel welcome. I would not have even considered the Chamber without Emily.
Q: What Chamber event do you look forward to the most and why?
A: The Chairman's Ball because I love wearing suits and I am looking forward to a new suit. I also love a good theme and this has all of those things.
Q: What’s one networking tip you’d share with new Chamber members?
A: I think it would be to listen. Listening helps you to learn other people's skills and passions and then allows you to help them connect with other people.
Q: Tell us one fun fact about you that might surprise people.
A: I love to sing and vacuum. I find both to be very calming and when done at the same time it is like my meditation.
Q: What was your first job?
A: Mascot at Six Flags in Arlington, Texas. It was hot and I got kicked often. It taught me to endure the bad days and enjoy the good days.
Q: What was your dream job as a child, and how does it compare to what you’re doing now?
A: Late-night talk show host was my dream job and now being in the promotional swag and apparel industry I get to meet new people, learn about their businesses and find innovative ways to promote their brand.
Q: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
A: Boxing, getting in a ring and knowing you are going to get hit is a crazy scenario but it teaches you so many life lessons about overcoming fear and being prepared and how to handle adversity.
Q: What inspires or motivates you to keep giving back to the community?
A: Saginaw has a special place in my heart. It's more than just where I live; it's where I've built my life, my business, and my connections. Seeing the potential here, the resilience of the people, and the strong sense of community inspires me to give back and contribute to its growth.
I believe in paying it forward. The support I've received from fellow businesses and community members has been invaluable, and I'm driven to offer that same support to others. Whether it's through volunteering, mentoring, or simply being an active and engaged citizen, I want to make a positive impact on Saginaw.
Witnessing the positive changes and the collaborative spirit in Saginaw fuels my desire to be a part of its continued success. It's about more than just business; it's about investing in the people and the place that have given me so much.
