Q: What year did you begin working at your company?
A: I started my working at Future Insurance in 2020.
Q: What year did you become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: 2026
Q: What motivated you to become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: I’ve been an active Chamber member since 2008, and over the years it’s given me incredible opportunities to build lasting relationships and meaningful business connections. Becoming a Chamber Ambassador allows me to give back by welcoming new members, helping them navigate their benefits, and connecting them with others so they can get the most out of their membership.
Q: What’s a small moment as an Ambassador that made you feel proud to be involved?
A: As a new Chamber Ambassador, I’m looking forward to the many small but meaningful moments supporting our members, building connections, and playing a part in making a positive impact within our Chamber.
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that has stuck with you, personally or professionally?
A: Always be willing to learn something new. There are always new technologies, products, or skills to learn. Staying curious and willing to learn ensures you continue moving forward rather than falling behind.
Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience?
A: I want our new members to feel welcomed and excited to participate in events. Joining the Chamber goes beyond membership. I hope they learn that it’s about growing their network and business by staying involved and making the most of what’s offered.
Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up?
A: A simple introduction of themselves and asking about me and my business. From there the conversation seems to move into the next topic easily.
Q: What role has the Chamber played in your personal or professional growth?
A: I was very shy when I first began attending networking events. Through my involvement with the Chamber, I grew more comfortable and gained confidence in introducing myself and starting conversations. As I built relationships with fellow members and they introduced me to others, my love for networking truly blossomed.
Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have?
A: Prior to becoming an insurance agent, I worked for a restoration company, where I helped businesses with disaster planning. That experience ultimately led me to pursue licensing as an insurance agent.
Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next?
A: I enjoy working behind the scenes on website management, including updating content and improving search visibility through SEO and new AI technology. I’m eager to continue learning new ways to leverage AI to enhance results on website searches.
Q: What's one thing you always have at your desk?
A: A fidget toy. It helps me reset and refocus when I need a short mental break from the computer.
