Q: When did you begin working at your company?
A: February of 2023
Q: When did you become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: 2024
Q: What motivated you to become an Ambassador?
A: To have the opportunity to meet new people from various companies and to build relationships on a personal and professional level.
Q: What’s the most memorable connection you’ve made as a Chamber Ambassador?
A: There is not one particular connection but rather several. I would say it would be with my fellow Ambassador members. As we meet up at various events there are usually a few minutes to have conversations with each other to get to know one another.
Q: What Chamber event do you look forward to the most and why?
A: The Percolator Breakfast. I am still amazed at the number of people that show up with it being so early in the morning. But when you think about it it’s a great way to start your day and bonus when vendors have free swag!
Q: What’s one networking tip you’d share with new Chamber members?
A: To have your physical business card, I place extras in the nametag sleeve of my lanyard.
Q: Tell us one fun fact about you that might surprise people.
A: I love to decorate and plan for any party or holiday!
Q: What was your first job?
A: Babysitting of course but my first real job was at First Central Mortgage in 1989.
Q: What was your dream job as a child, and how does it compare to what you’re doing now?
A: To be a detective. Being at a title company we are all detectives of the real estate world, working behind the scenes ensuring peace of mind on one of life’s biggest transactions!
Q: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
A: The first thing that comes to mind is ziplining over a river in Mexico.
Q: What inspires or motivates you to keep giving back to the community?
A: It’s a reminder to me that we are all connected no matter our background and that our actions can inspire hope and positivity to others.
