A: Being able to meet new members and people in the community and build stronger relationships.

Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience?
A: I hope that they feel welcomed and are excited to attend the next event. That they walk away with valuable information, make some new connections, and are excited to learn more.
Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up?
A: Tell me about your business? Do you have any current needs for your business? I would be interested in helping them, introducing them to others in the Chamber that may be able to assist them with meeting that need.
Q: What role has the Chamber played in your personal or professional growth?
A: It has been a great resource for meeting other businesses in our area, expanding relationships, and helping provide services or resources for growing your business.
Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have?
A: Nationally known for our Health Savings Accounts, with competitive rates. They are also surprised how easy it is to get a good rate of return on your money (Rated #1 in the nation for keeping money in members’ pockets. LMCU’s 4.00% Max Checking is one of the nation’s best high yield checking accounts.), competitive loan rates on loans, and we offer a large array of services including: Mortgage, Commercial & Personal Banking & Lending, Retirement & Financial Planning, Insurance, Small Business Lending & Premier Banking. Some are also surprised that we have 73 Branches with over 55,000+ ATM’s, located in both Michigan and Florida.
Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next?
A: I am growing more comfortable with AI and using Microsoft CoPilot. I am always willing to learn new things, especially when it helps with efficiency.
