Q: What motivated you to become an Ambassador? A: It’s a great way to meet new people and build relationships. I wanted to be more involved in the community and help support local businesses.
Q: What’s the most memorable connection you’ve made as a Chamber Ambassador? A: Meeting people who truly care about the community’s growth and success. It’s exciting to see those around you who are dedicated to making a difference.
Q: What Chamber event do you look forward to the most and why? A: I am most excited for the ribbon cuttings. It’s a great opportunity to learn about businesses and support them, especially since they play such a crucial role in our community.
Q: What’s one networking tip you’d share with new Chamber members? A: Focus on building genuine relationships. Take time to really listen to people and look for ways you can help them. It’s not about what you can get, but what you can give as well!
Q: Tell us one fun fact about you that might surprise people. A: A fun fact that might surprise people is that I played basketball growing up – on school teams, AAU and Gus Macker tournaments. My senior year of high school, our team won the State Championship!
Q: What was your first job? A: I was a waitress at Chi Chi’s in Saginaw.
Q: What was your dream job as a child, and how does it compare to what you’re doing now? A: As a child, I didn’t have a clear “dream job” in mind. It wasn’t until I started working in banking that I found something I truly enjoyed and wanted to build a career around. I’ve been in banking for 17 years now and still love what I do!
Q: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done? A: My sister and I went on the world's tallest Sky Coaster in Kissimmee, Florida. The free fall was 300 feet.
Q: What inspires or motivates you to keep giving back to the community? A: What motivates me to keep giving back to the community is knowing that even small actions can have a big impact. As a lifelong resident, this community has shaped who I am. I feel a strong sense of responsibility to do my part in helping it grow and thrive. Published: January 2025
