Q: What year did you begin working at your company?
A: 2023

Q: When year did you join the YPN Steering Committee?
A: 2024

Q: What motivated you to join the YPN Steering Committee?
A: I was motivated to join the YPN Steering Committee to contribute to the growth and sustainability of our local business community while continuing to learn and collaborate with other leaders. I value being part of the strategic development of initiatives that support young professionals, strengthen connections, and create long-term impact for our region.

Q: What’s your favorite way to build meaningful connections at YPN events—before, during, or after the event?
A: One of the most memorable aspects of my YPN experience has been expanding my network in ways I didn’t initially realize I needed. But to build meaningful connections not only with Saginaw County Chamber members, but also with professionals across the region relationships take intention and sometimes stepping outside of you comfort zone.

Q: How do you hope someone feels after attending their first YPN event?
A: Welcome. I hope they leave feeling welcomed, confident, and inspired—knowing they’ve found a space where they belong.

Q: What’s one professional skill you’ve strengthened through your involvement with YPN?
A: One professional skill I’ve significantly strengthened through my involvement with YPN is relationship-building. Engaging with diverse professionals has enhanced my ability to communicate effectively, collaborate intentionally, and foster connections that lead to meaningful partnerships and long-term professional growth.

Q: What’s one moment during your time with YPN that made you feel especially connected to the group or the community?
A: One moment that made me feel especially connected to YPN and the community was participating in the CEO Mixer. This was an opportunity for YPN to meet and mingle with CEO’s of the area. The event was not only well attended and a tremendous leaning opportunity, the conversations were all growth opportunities. At the event there was an feeling of togetherness and knowing that as a YP you have people in the area willing to teach, guide and advise you is fantastic.

Q: What’s one habit or mindset that helps you balance career growth with community involvement?
A: One mindset that helps me balance career growth with community involvement is being intentional with my time and commitments. I prioritize opportunities that align with my values and allow me to grow professionally while also making a meaningful impact in the community.

Q: What’s something outside of work that brings you energy or inspiration and helps you show up as a better leader?
A: Spending time creating artwork, going to museums, writing, and reading, along with connecting with people outside of work gives me energy and fresh perspective. These moments help me stay grounded, inspired, and better equipped to show up as a thoughtful, empathetic leader with clarity and purpose.

Q: What’s a hidden gem in Saginaw County you enjoy recommending to other young professionals?
A: Anywhere can truly be an opportunity for a YP to grow in the area because it is all about how you take on the perspective of an event, location, gathering or just a cup of coffee. From going to the Red Eye for a latte to attending a Saginaw Spirit game or going for a walk at a park each of those things can offer you something.

Q: If your life had a theme song right now, what would it be and why?
A: “‘Unstoppable’ by Sia, because this song is about growth, resilience, and showing up with confidence while continuing to build momentum.
