Q: What motivated you to become a Chamber Ambassador? A: I believe in the Chambers mission! It is a great way to be involved.
Q: What’s a small moment as an Ambassador that made you feel proud to be involved? A: Having the Chamber involved in a ribbon cutting for my family’s business. To see the group there and supporting warmed my heart!
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that has stuck with you, personally or professionally? A: Don’t work harder, so the people around you don’t have to. Teach, Train and let those you lead flourish!
Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience? A: The diversity of our Chamber! Saginaw seems to be the hub for the Great Lakes Bay Region, and I see the most cross over at our Chambers events from Midland and Bay and every event has the most welcoming feel!
Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up? A: Skateboarding.
Q: What role has the Chamber played in your personal or professional growth? A: I can honestly say the Chamber put me on a path to my current role with Covenant. It has built contacts for me both professionally and personally that I would have never had made.
Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have? A: I don’t know if it’s a skill, but I have successfully messed up the Thanksgiving Jell-o for roughly 25 consecutive years.
Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next? A: Euchre.
Q: What's one thing you always have at your desk? A: A large desk paper calendar! It is my way of visualizing what is coming!
