Q: What year did you become a Chamber Ambassador? A: I became an Ambassador in 2025.
Q: What motivated you to become a Chamber Ambassador? A: My decision to be an Ambassador was from my desire to help others become Chamber members and to help them utilize the Chamber and all it has to offer.
Q: What’s a small moment as an Ambassador that made you feel proud to be involved? A: I don’t think it is just one small moment, it is many moments helping out at events and talking to people.
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that has stuck with you, personally or professionally? A: When I was 18 getting ready to go away to college, my father told me he didn’t have much to offer me as far as money went, but he gave me a good name. Never do anything to tarnish that name, treat others as you want to be treated, be kind, work hard and leave this world a better place.
Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience? A: I hope people look around and see how many people there are to help you get to know your other businesses.
Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up? A: If someone wants to talk to me, I wouldn’t need much, just a hello. I love to talk.
Q: What role has the Chamber played in your personal or professional growth? A: The Chamber has connected me to people and businesses that I hadn’t met before in my previous employment. My leads group has introduced me to many people I now call friends.
Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have? A: I was raised on a beef farm and that doesn’t leave you ever!
Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next? A: I would love to learn AI, I am definitely not a techy person.
Q: What's one thing you always have at your desk? A: My desk is a mess, so I would say I have scratch paper because my brain is going a million miles an hour.
Q: If your job had a theme song, what would it be? A: My theme song is Lean on Me! I love fixing problems.
