Q: When did you begin working at your company? A: I began working for AHP in 2011.
Q: When did you become a Chamber Ambassador? A: I have been a Chamber Ambassador since 2018.
Q: What motivated you to become an Ambassador? A: I was drawn to the opportunity to get to know other members of the community.
Q: What’s the most memorable connection you’ve made as a Chamber Ambassador? A: Being an Ambassador establishes close knit relationships with others – these relationships have grown into friendships.
Q: What Chamber event do you look forward to the most and why? A: I like attending the Perc Breakfasts and Business After Hours events. These are typically the events where I have the opportunity to meet the most people.
Q: What’s one networking tip you’d share with new Chamber members? A: One networking tip that I would share is to be present. Attend the various events and meet people!
Q: Tell us one fun fact about you that might surprise people. A: I am the mom of five kids. There are 19 years between my oldest and my youngest.
Q: What was your first job? A: My first job was a file clerk.
Q: What was your dream job as a child, and how does it compare to what you’re doing now? A: As a child, I wanted to work in an office and do something with math. I fulfilled this dream and am currently working as a CPA in a local accounting firm.
Q: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done? A: I enjoy international travel and seeing the cultures of other countries. I have been to Germany, Belgium, France, Holland, and many different island nations within the Caribbean, including Aruba, Belize, Curacao, Haiti and Honduras.
Q: What inspires or motivates you to keep giving back to the community? A: Giving back makes me feel good! There is just something about giving of yourself to help others that just makes me feel good.
