A: 2016
Q: What year did you become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: 2026
Q: What motivated you to become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: I have lived in Saginaw all my life and have a passion for our community. I truly enjoy being involved in community events and getting to know new people.
Q: What’s a small moment as an Ambassador that made you feel proud to be involved?
A: I am very new at being an Ambassador so I am still working my way through getting involved in all the great things the Chamber has to offer. I am really looking forward to the community impact day though.
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that has stuck with you, personally or professionally?
A: A piece of advice that I received that has stuck with me is that sometimes our biggest wins are just making it through the day.
Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience?
A: I think if you can take anything away it would be the opportunity to make connections with new people.
Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up?
A: Asking about the company you work at or being open for them to talk about what they do. I would also say the weather. Everyone likes talking about the weather.
Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have?
A: I don’t know if this is a skill or an area of expertise, but I am good at doing puzzles. I like the challenge of a puzzle, and I can normally complete one quickly.
Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next?
A: One area that I truly enjoy learning more about is leadership. I don’t think you can ever know everything so for me I feel like I am always learning new ways to become a better leader for my team.
