Q: When did you begin working at your company?
A: 2021
Q: When did you become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: 2024, I'm beginning my second year in 2025.
Q: What motivated you to become an Ambassador?
A: I wanted to grow my network and help support current and new businesses in Saginaw.
Q: What’s the most memorable connection you’ve made as a Chamber Ambassador?
A: This one is tough to choose just one, I would say it is all of the new connections that have become friends and clients.
Q: What Chamber event do you look forward to the most and why?
A: Monthly Perc- I get a chance to see familiar faces, network and make new connections. I also enjoy the updates on what is happening in the business community and economy.
Q: What’s one networking tip you’d share with new Chamber members?
A: I would say to use all of the resources the Chamber has available, and get involved with the Chamber, whether that be a Sales Leads Roundtable group, or attending Business After Hours and monthly Perc Breakfasts.
Q: Tell us one fun fact about you that might surprise people.
A: I do my own hair and nails, a lot of people always ask who does them and its me! I taught myself.
Q: What was your first job?
A: At the Saginaw Field and Stream Club, I kept score for trap shooting and would load the machines when they needed it.
Q: What was your dream job as a child, and how does it compare to what you’re doing now?
A: Fashion Designer!! Or personal stylist. The only comparable thing I would say to working in radio/digital media is you have to be creative for both.
Q: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
A: Flew to England by myself to see my then-boyfriend, now-husband who was living back at home at the time. It was the first time I had ever flown anywhere let alone across the world.
Q: What inspires or motivates you to keep giving back to the community?
A: I was born and raised in Saginaw, I have lived here my whole life. I want to see businesses in Saginaw thrive and be as successful as possible to continue to make Saginaw a great place to work and live.
