A: 2021
Q: What motivated you to become a Chamber Ambassador?
A: To be able to network and assist companies in marketing themselves in the region.
Q: What’s a small moment as an Ambassador that made you feel proud to be involved?
A: During ribbon cuttings, getting to meet the business owners and how proud they are to run their own business.
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that has stuck with you, personally or professionally?
A: Slow is smooth and smooth is fast!- US Navy Seal Motto
Q: If someone is attending their first Chamber event, what’s one thing you hope they take away from the experience?
A: Everyone is interested in learning about you and your business.
Q: If someone wanted to start a conversation with you at a Chamber event, what’s an easy topic to bring up?
A: Whatever they would like to know about banking and have been afraid to ask.
Q: What role has the Chamber played in your personal or professional growth?
A: Being an Ambassador has offered the opportunity to meet a lot of our community and business leaders.
Q: What’s one skill or area of expertise people are often surprised to learn you have?
A: Construction, I have remodeled the bathroom, kitchen, installed windows and redone siding, rebuilt a large deck.
Q: What’s something you’re currently learning or would like to learn next?
A: Video games, the new systems are so much faster and interconnected.
Q: What's one thing you always have at your desk?
A: A pen, always needing to sign or initial some type of paperwork.
Q: If your job had a theme song, what would it be?
A: Money, Money, Money by ABBA. Money is funny in a rich person’s world.
