Q: How long have you been with your company? A: Since January 2021.
Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador? A: I’ve had a 2 year stint previously and made my triumphant return in January 2022.
Q: What do you like about being an ambassador? A: I like the bonding with fellow Ambassadors and the opportunity to engage with individuals in the public and business community.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself. A: I am a native of Saginaw. I graduated from Carrollton High School and Saginaw Valley State University. My immediate family consists of my brother Chris and his wife Carol, and my Aunt Shirley. Also, I am proud to say I still have several very close childhood friends.
Q: What was your first job? A: My first job was at a party store performing duties like filling stock, bottle returns, and just anything else I was asked to do.
Q: What worries keep you up at night? A: About the only thing that keeps me up at night is in relation to my business when our next truckload will arrive and how well we will do on it.
Q: What is your greatest achievement? A: My greatest achievement is still being alive. In 2009, I experienced some serious heart issues that I wasn’t sure I would make it through. With the excellent aid of medical personnel, family, and friends, I am grateful for every day.
Q: What is your most prized possession? A: My most prized possession is my partnership in a business that I really enjoy doing.
Q: What is something unique in your office? A: A unique item in my office at home is a Christmas gift from a friend’s daughter. It is an ornament of travel trailer. I like to keep it in view to remind me why I work so hard, but also to take time for myself.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time? A: In my spare time, I like to travel anywhere in Michigan but my favorite place is Clear Lake just outside of West Branch. There is great hunting as well as trails for riding my quad.
