Veronica Horn, President and CEO of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Chamber's 2018 endorsements for the Saginaw County Board of Commissioners, State House Seats in the 85th, 94th and 95th Districts and State Senate, District 32, all representing parts of Saginaw County.
Additionally, the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce has taken a position on the 3 statewide ballot questions and the Saginaw Intermediate School District 1-mil request for the Career Technical Education ballot question.
In accordance with the policies and procedures set by the Board of Directors of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce, a screening and endorsement committee surveyed and interviewed candidates running for positions on the Saginaw County Board of Commissioners. The committee evaluated the candidates' responses against the Chamber's legislative priorities and vision for the future and interests of the Saginaw County business community. Their final endorsement recommendations were presented to the Chamber's Board of Directors who approved the slate by majority vote.
