Young Professionals Network
The Saginaw County Young Professionals Network, (YPN) is a program of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce. The mission of the Young Professionals Network is to support the attraction and retention of young talent to the Saginaw Valley and Great Lakes Bay Region while developing the next generation of leaders. To fulfill this mission, the YPN aims to make the area an attractive place for young professionals to live, work, learn and play. A variety of events and services are offered to help young professionals grow personally and professionally, network and enjoy the quality of life our region has to offer.
Who should get involved?
Although membership is open to anyone, programming and services are aimed at young professionals and college students in their 20's and 30's. Employers are encouraged to support their young professionals through learning about the program and assisting with the membership investment, if possible.
What are the benefits of joining the YPN?
Benefits of joining the YPN include discounts on Davenport University tuition, discounted membership at the Saginaw Art Museum, and other developing discounts on events, leadership opportunities and more! New benefits are added all the time! Click here for details on all special YPN offers.
Does the YPN host events?
The YPN hosts a wide variety of events including leadership building, professional development and informative luncheons, After 5 networking mixers, and community service events. Check out the calendar of events for a complete list.
What else does the YPN do?
A lot! The YPN has a monthly newsletter, provides access to a variety of service opportunities and volunteer initiatives, connects young professionals with established professionals and mentors, and gives you an opportunity to voice your opinion, passion and work toward a better Saginaw. If you have ideas for events and services the YPN should offer or consider in future programming -- let us know, your insight matters!
How much does it cost to be a member?
Membership into the Saginaw County YPN is only $50. Your one-time investment provides you with a lifetime membership (until your 40th birthday). Your membership is unique to you, and follows you regardless of employment change or status.
