Q: How long have you been with Health Delivery Inc.?
A: I started here in October of 2015.
Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador?
A: I became an ambassador in January 2016.
Q: What do you like about being an ambassador?
A: I like knowing more about our community, meeting great new people and promoting what is great about Saginaw County.
Q: Tell us something about yourself.
A: My husband and I live in Birch Run and have two daughters, 8 and 12, plus two dogs. I graduated from CMU in journalism.
Q: What was your first job?
A: My first job after college was reporting on agriculture and police for The Huron Daily Tribune in Bad Axe.
Q: What keeps you up at night?
A: My husband snoring - actually probably worrying about my kids.
Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A: I am most proud of things I have written, from poetry for friends’ weddings to columns about my daughters and in-depth news articles. I really like to share the stories of people who don’t always have their voices heard. I can continue to do that with patient stories we are sharing at Health Delivery.
Q: What is your most prized possession?
A: The thing I use the most is my cell phone but I care much more about paper books I love or copies of things I’ve written.
Q: What is something unique in your office?
A: Since the David R. Gamez Community Health Center and our administrative offices are located in a former bank, we have three large safes in the building.
Q: What is your favorite Michigan travel location?
A: Frankfort and Crystal Lake.
