Q:  How long have you been with your company/organization?:
A:  4 years.

Q:  How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador?
A:  3 years.

Q:  What do you like about being an ambassador?
A:  The networking opportunities where I get to share all the great things about Bavarian Inn.  I also enjoy helping/mentoring new Chamber members on the benefits of the Saginaw Chamber.  On the personal side, I love the group of friends and support I have experienced through the other Chamber Ambassadors.

Q:  Tell us something about yourself. (Where are you from, education, family…)
A:  Born and raised in Bay City.  Graduated from MSU in Employee Relations.  Obtained a teacher’s certification in Secondary Education from SVSU then started work as the Newspaper in Education Representative at The Saginaw News.  Married to Barry Borsenik for 21 years and have an amazing 12 year old daughter Olivia.  Very active in the Michigan Knights of Columbus as Barry is the Saginaw Diocesan Membership Director.

Q:  What was your first job?
A:   Bagging groceries at an IGA in Bay City.

Q:  What keeps you up at night?
A:   Thinking about the rest of the week’s schedule and preparing for it.  We are always on the go.

Q:  What is your greatest achievement?
A:   Family and career of course, but aside from that, I am still pleased that I once was the top winner in Michigan and then one of 5 National winners in a contest where I submitted lesson plans I used in the classroom while student teaching in Chesaning.  The lessons had to be on utilizing newspapers in the classroom.

Q:  What is your most prized possession?
A:   I am not materialistic at all, but I guess I have to say my wedding ring.

Q:  What is something unique in your office?
A:   The metal stick figure guy with a metal bow tie that apparently is a wine holder in one hand. I inherited it from my predecessor, but not any wine.

Q:  What is your favorite Michigan travel location?
A:   Camping every summer at different Michigan State Parks.  We go to a different one each year.
