In the last legislative session, Michigan passed a comprehensive Energy Bill that addresses Michigan’s needs for the future. We must continue to work toward accessible, affordable energy as we believe energy is one of the top components to stable, long-term economic growth.
We oppose any ban on hydraulic fracturing. Michigan needs a variety of energy options to remain competitive in the energy arena.
We support a large industrial electric user rate; one that is not subsidized by other rate-payers. We also support investigating all options to allow high-intensity electric users to reduce energy costs.
