Q:  How long have you been with the YWCA?
A:  Since April 2018

Q:  How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador?
A:  Since January 2018

Q:  What do you like about being an ambassador?
A:  I am passionate about connecting people, and being a Chamber Ambassador gives me so many opportunities to do that.

Q:  Tell us a little about yourself. (Where are you from, education, family, etc.)
A:  I am from Michigan, I lived in several different cities as a child, and settled in Saginaw as an adult. I live with my significant other, our two dogs and two cats. I have a B.A. in Communication from SVSU. I am passionate about nonprofit work. In addition to working for the YWCA, I sit on the board for Women in Leadership and volunteer for several other nonprofits.

Q:  What was your first job?
A: My first job was serving ice cream at Curly Cone in Millington.

Q:  What worries keep you up at night?
A:  I worry about everything, but I love sleep, so not much keeps me up at night.

Q:  What is your greatest achievement?
A: My greatest achievement is raising my baby sister, Tiana. I was 23, and she was 11 when I adopted her.

Q:  What is your most prized possession?
A:  My car is my most prized possession because it’s a symbol of independence and my hard work.

Q:  What is something unique in your office?
A:  I have a unique and beautiful urban art canvas created from graffiti. It’s several shades of blue and compliments my office décor. The piece was created by local artist and friend, Linda Kreager.

Q:  What is your favorite Michigan travel location?
A:  I love Big Spring, Kitch-iti-kipi, in the Upper Peninsula. I prefer to go in Fall when the weather is cool and all of the leaves are changing colors.
