Q: How long have you been with Andrews Hooper Pavlik? A: I started with the company in January 2011.
Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador? A: I became a Chamber Ambassador in January 2017.
Q: What do you like about being an ambassador? A: I like the camaraderie that comes with being an ambassador. I work with a great group of fellow ambassadors. I also really enjoy attending the networking events such as the PERC breakfast and the After Hours events.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself. A: I was born and raised in Saginaw County! I have 5 children, 4 from a previous marriage, and 1 with my current husband (who also happens to be my soulmate!). I was a stay at home mom for a number of years, but decided I wanted more in my life. While my kids were in school, I started Delta College and later went on to Northwood and received my Bachelor of Business Administration. I currently live in Freeland with my husband and our 3-year-old daughter, along with 3 of my children from my previous marriage.
Q: What was your first job? A: When I was 16 I started two jobs; one at a small insurance agency as a file clerk and the other as a high school co-op at Hemlock Semiconductor.
Q: What worries keep you up at night? A: My kids!!
Q: What is your greatest achievement? A: Getting my bachelor’s degree and later my CPA.
Q: What is your most prized possession? A: My children, of course!
Q: What is something unique about your office? A: Our firm likes to promote various camaraderie and team building events, such as fun days in the office during our busy season, or sending us to activities such as the Escape Room in Frankenmuth.
Q: What is your favorite Michigan travel location? A: Curtis, MI. My husband and I discovered it a few years ago. We make it a point to go up there every summer for a nice, relaxing week of fishing!
