Q: How long have you been with Edward Jones? A: I started with the company in March 2014.
Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador? A: I became a Chamber Ambassador in January 2016.
Q: What do you like about being an ambassador? A: I like being connected to the many successful professionals and businesses in our community. We each make an impact on our community and we are all working toward a common goal of seeing Saginaw prosper. I believe the Chamber of Commerce is where a lot of the magic is happening.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself. A: I was born and raised in the Detroit area. I went to school at Michigan State University for business. I moved to New Jersey after graduation with my (now wife) Kristen. We enjoyed the east coast life for three years before moving back home to start a family. We now have Makenna (11) and Ethan (9) and our dog Lola.
Q: What was your first job? A: My first job was a paperboy delivering the Macomb Daily newspaper on my bicycle. I thought I was rich!! I was the only 12 year old with a job and I loved it.
Q: What worries keep you up at night? A: There is very little I don’t worry about. You name it!
Q: What is your greatest achievement? A: Sometimes just making it to tomorrow is a great accomplishment! However, here is a better answer. I decided one day to start raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project by committing to run 50 miles. People often asked “Why?” I still don’t have a better answer than “Why not?” Anyway, it took a full year to train and a lot of time fundraising. In the end I raised over $6,000 and ran 53.5 miles in one day.
Q: What is your most prized possession? A: My family. Not exactly a possession but certainly can’t live without them.
Q: What is something unique in your office? A: My kids’ artwork. I have lots of grade school art projects and other treasures on display.
Q: What is your favorite Michigan travel location? A: Young State Park in Boyne City. My wife’s family camps for a week in June every year. The group has grown to more than 30 people, definitely the highlight of the summer.
