Q: How long have you been with Valley United Insurance Agency?
A: I recently joined Valley United Insurance Agency, quickly approaching a year in September!
Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador?
A: I became an Ambassador in January 2018.
Q: What do you like about being an ambassador?
A: Being an ambassador has allowed me to make professional and personal relationships that I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to make otherwise. I am able to connect, be involved and promote everything that is great about Saginaw.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: I was born and raised in Saginaw. I attended Saginaw Township schools and completed my BA at Northwood University. I moved to the Keys for a few years but moved back to be closer to my family. I am married to an amazing man named Ben Tacktor and we have four kids – Trenton, Charlotte, Isaiah and Riley. I love to go boating, golfing, running and spending time with our family and friends.
Q: What was your first job?
A: My first job, when I was 15, was at Shattuck Manor serving food to the residents. A great first job!
Q: What worries keep you up at night?
A: I can be kept up by thinking of things I have to do at work and home with all my kiddos –there’s not enough time in each day!
Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A: My greatest achievement is staying true to who I am in this crazy thing called life, allowing me to be the best wife, mother and person that I can be!
Q: What is your most prized possession?
A: Without question, my family.
Q: What is something unique in your office?
A: My office is all business with an obscene number of pictures of my kids!!
Q: What is your favorite Michigan travel location?
A: My favorite location is Mullet Lake/Indian River. You can find my family there boating most weekends during the summer!
