Q: How long have you been with your company?
A: I have been with Wilson Realty since 2019.
Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador?
A: I have been a proud Chamber Ambassador since January 2021.
Q: What do you like about being an Ambassador?
A: I like meeting and learning about people and their businesses. I enjoy the networking and connecting with others that are helping to move forward the greatness that is Saginaw County.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: I have been happily married to my wife Rhonda since 2011. I have two stepchildren and two grandchildren. Raised here in Saginaw, I went to local schools - Handley Elementary, South Intermediate, and Arthur Hill High School, graduating in 1981. My wife Rhonda is also a lifelong Saginaw resident (retired GM-Delphi.) After these early years, I obtained my bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science as well as Marketing and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Northwood University, respectively. I also graduated from Delta College - a great local gem right in our own backyard. My career path has taken me from a local truck driver for Edward’s Men’s Shop right out of high school to the retail world of consumer electronics for the biggest chain in the US to project management in the telecommunications industry to now … the awesome world of real estate!
Q: What was your first job?
A: My first job was as a truck driver for Edward’s Men’s Shop.
Q: What worries keep you up at night?
A: I try to keep things in perspective: knowing what I can/will do and what I can’t/won’t do; knowing what is important and relevant and what is not is key for me.
Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A: My greatest achievement was finding my best friend, who said YES, and became my wife.
Q: What is your most prized possession?
A: I don’t know how prized it is, but I have a little sport’s car I enjoy driving around.
Q: What is something unique in your office?
A: I have a very nice picture of my wife and me. And, our cat, Biggie is sleeping right here in a chair.
Q: What is your favorite Michigan travel location?
A: I enjoy going to different places throughout Michigan.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: I enjoy time with family and friends. My wife and I like to garden and do landscaping. I also like doing projects around the house.
