Tell us about yourself. I am a graduate of Central Michigan University and a Financial Representative at Thrivent Financial where I help young professionals get started in their retirement planning and understand their work benefits. I love to golf, fish, and hunt. I have lived in Saginaw almost my entire life, and I love the people here.
Why are you involved with the YPN? I am currently the chair of the YPN but was involved in setting up the After 5 events previously. I love meeting new people and making new friends within the YPN, while also showcasing the awesome things Saginaw has to offer to people who are new or do not know about Saginaw.
What visions do you have for the YPN in 2020 and long-term? My vision for the YPN is to continue to grow the numbers of involved members and continue to highlight businesses and events within Saginaw and the Great Lakes Bay Region that people may not have been to or heard of before.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? To see into the future. As an advisor, it would be helpful to know what's ahead (And also to be able to see what the next lotto numbers would be)!
What is your favorite thing about living in Saginaw? The people and sense of community. I have met the most resilient and kind people in this city. If more people knew about all the good happening here instead of the crime, so many more people would be looking at moving to Saginaw. The sense of community is stronger here than any other place I have been. Between all of the amazing events, the acts of kindness, and everyone lending a helping hand when needed, there are so many things happening here that are lifting this community up.
