Is all quiet on the Saginaw Chamber front?
While you’re busy running your organizations, we are actively working on and supporting projects that will dramatically improve the Saginaw County Community.
Unlike the major news outlets, you may not get “breaking news” all the time from us. But know that we are working behind the scenes on some pretty important things for our community!
We have new faces on the local, state and federal levels of government and have already met with many of them. We build relationships and actively educate our elected officials on community priorities.

We have new faces on the local, state and federal levels of government and have already met with many of them. We build relationships and actively educate our elected officials on community priorities.
Some initiatives we’re working on include leveraging our strong relationship with the City of Saginaw and the County, providing letters of support for grant requests for blight elimination and historic preservation.
In addition, working with Saginaw Future and the private sector, we were able to obtain $5 million from both the City of Saginaw and the County of Saginaw through ARPA funding, to continue the redevelopment efforts along the Saginaw River. This major undertaking will help build on the medical “hub” that will provide better access to the underserved population, both urban and rural.
Also, as a part of this development, we are working with the private sector and elected officials to build and renovate “missing middle” housing needs. This will help attract and retain students and other support workers in a vibrant economy.
We’re working to help create an economy and environment that will attract and retain our workforce and make a great place to work and raise a family even more exceptional!
